We offer free email consultations for individuals who have questions about varicose veins, hand veins, or PRP therapy for the knees.

About Your First Visit

During your first visit, we will take the time to thoroughly examine you

At Tokyo Vein Clinic, all consultations are conducted by board-certified specialists in vascular surgery, general surgery, and orthopedics.

For varicose vein and hand vein consultations, your first visit will take approximately 40 minutes and will include:

Medical history review

Visual and physical examination

Ultrasound imaging (performed personally by the physician)

For knee PRP therapy, an orthopedic specialist will:

Conduct a detailed clinical evaluation

Review your MRI results

Explain the recommended treatment plan thoroughly and answer your questions

What to Bring & What to Wear

Please be sure to bring your My Number card or health insurance card with you to your first visit.

Please bring the following:

My Number card (if you have one) or health insurance card (required)

Medication record or a list of your current medications (optional)

Referral letter or previous test results (if available)

Attire:

There are no strict clothing requirements.
However, if you are being examined for varicose veins, the physician will need access to the groin and thigh area. You may be asked to remove pants or stockings; in that case, we will provide a towel to wrap around your waist to maintain your privacy and comfort.
